AbuBakr Academy is a branch of AbuBakr Islamic Center of WA. AbuBakr Islamic provides space for daily prayers, Friday sermons and as well as a weekend and weekday Quran program. AbuBakr Islamic Center of WA also provides aid in family counseling, marriage services and funeral services.
AbuBakr Academy was founded in February 2018 as a result of a merge between Makkah Islamic School (2011) and AbuBakr Tahfeed Academy (2009). Makkah Islamic School was an all-inclusive Islamic School that taught Quran, Islamic Studies and as well as Secular Studies. AbuBakr Tahfeed Academy was an intensive Tahfeed program that focused on the memorization of the Quran and has produced many Hufad (memorizers of the Quran) throughout the years. The goal of the merge was to combine the experience of Secular Studies teachers with experienced Quran teachers to better serve the community.

Math fluency refers to the ability to recall the basic facts in all four operations accurately,
quickly and effortlessly.
Math facts are important because they form the building blocks for higher-level math concepts.
