At AbuBakr Academy, we aim to cultivate a learning environment that promotes academic achievement through attendance, leadership, and Islamic values.

AbuBakr Academy is a branch of AbuBakr Islamic Center of WA, which provides space for daily prayers, Friday sermons, as well as a weekend and weekday Quran program, and many other services for the community.

AbuBakr Academy was founded in February 2018 as a result of a merger between Makkah Islamic School (2011) and AbuBakr Tahfeed Academy (2009). Makkah Islamic School was an all-inclusive Islamic School that taught Quran, Islamic Studies, and Secular Studies. AbuBakr Tahfeed Academy was an intensive Tahfeed program that focused on memorizing the Quran and has produced many Hufadh (memorizers of the Quran) over the years. The goal of the merger was to combine the experience of Secular Studies teachers with experienced Quran teachers to serve the community better.
